Chicken Finger Strips in Batter:
Tastes like it could be found at a restaurant but these delicious chicken tenders are made at home in your kitchen. This is one of my favorite recipes as it is perfect as an appetizer or a meal. I'm a snacker at heart so this fits in perfectly with my style of eating. The batter can be used for either chicken or fish.
Sweet and Sour Sauce:
This recipe creates a delicious meal when combined with pork, chicken, vegetables, meatballs, or spaghetti. Pictured is my homemade sweet and sour pork dish (which is also the recipe included here) but feel free to use the sauce for other purposes should you choose. I use as thickened version as a dunking sauce for my chicken fingers as shown above this recipe.
There are many types of whitefish and this recipe will suit most. Basa, catfish, tilapia, cod, haddock, pollock, grouper, soul, halibut or Pacific swordfish can be fried, poached, steamed or baked. This recipe steam cooks the fillets over lemon. This is virtually a no fail method of cooking fish so even if you are a novice in the kitchen, give this method a whirl.
